Funeral of late Zambian President-Minister Pillay represents Seychelles |03 September 2008

Dr Mwanawasa’s body will be laid to rest at his palatial farm in Lusaka.

Seychelles is observing a day of national mourning on the occasion of the funeral, and all national flags will fly at half mast today.

President Mwanawasa died in a French hospital on August 19 after suffering a stroke several weeks before.

His body was flown back to Zambia on Saturday August 23.
