The new MJF President, Rajesh Mathur, who is also on the board of Autism Seychelles, said that it has been the policy of MJF Lions Club from its inception to carry out projects that benefit the community at large and assist the needy.

He also said that when we receive CSR donations, we have the moral responsibility to use them appropriately.

Mr Mathur added that the MJF’s aim is to care for the youth of this country which echoes the motto of the Lions Clubs this year ‘Youth Our Future’ and pledged the MJF’s continuing support to the youth.

Mr Mathur thanked the outgoing President Keshra Bhudia for setting up very high moral standards in the MJF Club.

“It feels good to lead in such environment,” he said.

With respect to the members of the MJF, Mr Mathur noted that the club has not only been able to retain all its 23 MJF members from previous year but will add more members to the club.

“We will induct new members who are willing to contribute to the progress of the club,” he said.

He concluded by thanking all the sponsors who have been contributing to the MJF.

“We will look forward for their continued valued support in the future,” he added.
