Bus services back to normal as Cascade bridge re-opens |28 August 2013

As of yesterday large capacity buses which were operating via the Providence highway are now operating along Cascade bridge as has previously been the case, the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) has announced.

As a result, the special shuttle eervice will no longer operate.  But as of next week, SPTC will introduce new services between the airport and Victoria via Cascade to meet demand.
To note, since yesterday morning SPTC has placed additional buses along Cascade route.

All services which include secondary and post secondary school trips will operate as normal.

Now that work has completed on Cascade bridge, SPTC has said it will be in a better position to implement some of the requests from members of the public.

As of next week for example, a service from Providence via Cascade to Port Launay will become operational.  The bus service will depart Providence at 4.30pm.

SPTC has thanked members of the public for their understanding while remedial work on Cascade bridge was taking place.
