STA shows goodwill |21 September 2013

The Seychelles Tourism Academy (STA) is not only committed to educating the students enrolled on its many programmes, but to the society in general.

Under its corporate and social responsibility (CSR) programme, the STA has done several activities outside its campus with the objective of reaching out to the society.

Recently, a group of staff and students from the academy joined forces to do some outdoor cleaning and tree-planting at the Mother Theresa’s Home at Anse Etoile.

Because of the dry and dusty season, the group came prepared with their facial mask to prevent the dust from affecting their health. The staff members and students worked side by side to get the work done on quite an extensive plot.

Another activity that the STA has done as part of its CSR programme is a dinner organised for bishops during the annual Episcopal Conference of the Indian Ocean here.

The STA is planning to do more voluntary work in the future.
