Seychelles-India Day also to be held in India |05 October 2013

A version of the Seychelles-India Day will shortly also be held in India.
This was announced by the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St Ange at a press conference at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Hotel yesterday afternoon.

The minister made the declaration in the presence of the Indian high commissioner Thanglura Darlong and the group of Indian artists who have gathered in Seychelles for the first edition of the festival.

Minister St Ange said that in this way, Seychellois artists will also have the opportunity to travel to India and discover its lovely people with wonderful personality, exchange with Indian artists and promote Seychelles there.

The date of what can be termed as the ‘away version’ of the Seychelles-India Day is however yet to be announced.
But surely local artists and arts enthusiasts, especially those of Indian descent, will be looking forward to make the trip to India!
