Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars-Show set for September 5 and 6 |10 July 2004

According to the initiator of the show, Bennet Accouche, an experienced music teacher at the School of Music, this year’s edition of Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars was originally set for June.

Mr Accouche said that between now and September, the 15 little stars would have plenty of time to prepare themselves, especially during the August school holidays.
Since its introduction three years ago, Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars has recorded great success and has become an annual event.

Mr Accouche said that it was not an easy task to select the best 15  participants among the 90 aged between 5 and 9 years old.

He said that this year’s participants are very talented and some who have not been chosen among the 15 for this year's Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars show will get to participate next year.

The 15 little stars for September's show have been chosen because of their excellent voice, enthusiasm, confidence to perform in front of a crowd and outgoing personality.

The show will last two hours, a little shorter that past ones, and will include performances by the Children’s Choir of the School of Music and other artistes.

Compared to past editions, Jules Hoareau will not feature in the coming show.
The 15 little stars will interpret songs like Mon Pti Pei and Manman by Michel Marengo, Entel by Giselle, Vye Katedral by Gersande Eichler, Like a Prayer by Madonna, among others.

Now that the audition is over, the 15 finalists are preparing themselves for the big day.
