Football: Sunkiss'd division one-Goalless La Digue derby |03 August 2004

The point garnered from the draw has helped Anse Réunion to consolidate second position in the league standings with 15 points, three less than leaders Red Star and one more than third-placed St Louis.

As for La Passe, they remain fourth on the 10-team league table with 11 points from six games after three wins, two draws and a defeat.

Sunday's match saw La Passe and Anse Réunion continue their love-hate relationship and Seychelles' number one referee Eddie Maillet had to dish out four yellow cards to Franky Ah-Kong, Armantal Ernesta (Anse Réunion), Jimmy Cousin and Ted Esther (La Passe) to calm the players' nerves.

La Passe had the best chance to grab all three points in the match but Malagasy captain Bruno Saindini failed to hit the target from the penalty spot in the 25th minute.

Anse Réunion, the only team yet to lose a match in the top flight, have now stretched their unbeaten run to seven matches.
