NCA open week-Students put on talent show

Put together by the Student Welfare Committee (SWC), the show took place at the college in the presence of the Minister for Local Government, Sports and Culture, Sylvette Pool; the principal secretary for Sports and Culture, Patrick Nanty; director of NCA, David Chetty and parents.

Fashion design students were the first to appear on stage in a set of garments. They sashayed not only to show off their modelling skills but also those beautiful fashionable  clothings they had made themselves during fashion classes.

The fashion show was followed by the Cracker Jack Crew with a modern dancing style, similar to the moon-walking dance of American pop star Michael Jackson. The dance  surely made a good impression on the small crowd gathered at the school compound.
The Jungle Girls also took the stage with a "soukous" dance.

On a more serious note, students performed a play about the negative behaviours at school and their consequences in the long run. The drama, the aim of which was to give moral values to all young Seychellois, did not however fail to entertain the audience.

After the show, parents and guests were invited to view some artworks by fellow art students. Parents took the opportunity to discuss their children's progress with teachers whereas some S5 students gathered as much information as possible on the courses on offer at the College.
