New Year message from acting head of Anglican Church-‘May God bless Seychelles and give her peace now and always’ |31 December 2004

“As we draw to an end of year 2004, it is right to be thankful to God for his blessings. We have unselfishly journeyed through valleys and climbed steep mountains.

“May we make time for reflection on ways to improve our sense of community building and fellowship.

“Children are the future of our society. They are humble and innocent. It is therefore fitting that we seek to be simple and humble as children. Children share our joys and pain. They experience what comes our way.

“The things we value are the yardstick our children will use to understand and appreciate the sanctity of life.
“For 2005 let our prayers, thoughts and actions express through our children our desire for a better society.
“May God bless Seychelles, guard her children, guide her leaders and give her peace now and always.”
