Elections of new karting executive committee-Maiden replaces Ah-Shung as head |17 February 2005

Election for office bearers took place Saturday February 12 during the sports' annual general meeting.

Ah-Shung who was first elected as chairperson in 2003, is now the vice-chairman and treasurer of the association, while Liza Rene remains as secretary.

Dave Rene, who has held different posts on the executive committee, has remained as the technical advisor.

The five ordinary members are Peter Fred, John Simon, Andy Denousse, Lesley Mathiot and Christian Larue.
Meanwhile, all executive committee members are reminded that the first meeting is scheduled for Thursday February 17 at 5 p.m. at the Champions' Park Raceway, Roche Caïman.

The SKA has also announced that the 2005 season will roar off on Sunday March 6 with the first of the 13-round National Championship.

The SKA is also looking to recruit new drivers to join the Novice class. The deadline for registration is Monday February 28. Registration forms can be collected at Simon Jewellers at Victoria House.
