Karting: National Championship-Wins for Marc Delcy, Peter Fred and Dave Rene |28 April 2005

After finishing second to race winner Roger Pothin, Delcy was promoted to first place after the former was docked 30 seconds for a driving infringement. The penalty really hurt Pothin so bad that he finished in fourth place overall.

Like Pothin, Carlos Larue was docked 10 seconds and he fell from fourth to fifth position. Second place thus went to Stephan Simon who is third in the standings.

After last weekend’s race, Pothin is in second place on the championship table with three points less than leader Larue.

Peter Fred is currently the best Junior category driver and his latest victory has given him an 11-point lead over Stephan Emmanuel in the standings.

Stephen Rosalie finished second to move into third position with two points less than Emmanuel, while Roland Delcy is joint-third with Hendrick Payet after his fourth-place finish.

Drivers of the Junior class raced in different groups and the top eight qualified for the final and drove together with the more-experienced drivers of the Formula A class.

A mistake by her daughter Liza, who went wide into a corner after leading for most of the race, gave Dave Rene a hat-trick of wins to consolidate first position with 21 points.

Liza settled for the runner-up berth followed by John Simon in third position.
