MLUH appoints new acting DG for Lands and Territories |12 May 2005

A communiqué from the ministry said that the appointment is in line with the ministry’s relentless efforts at providing better and more efficient service to members of the public, with the aim of improving customer satisfaction.

Mr Winslow, aged 31, joined the Ministry of Land Use and Habitat in April 2002 as Engineer in the Development Control Division.  He was promoted to Assistant Director within the same division in June 2003.  Since January 2004 until his new appointment Mr Winslow was the director of Planning Authority Secretariat.

According to the communiqué the post of director general (Lands and Territories) has been vacant for some time now and the responsibilities of the post were until recently being discharged by Terry Biscornet who also holds the post of director general Development Planning.

The Ministry of Land Use and Habitat have five divisions, and their respective directors general are Brohnson Winslow (Lands and Territories), Terry Biscornet (Development Planning), Yvon Fostel (Habitat), Gerard Hoareau (Geo-Informatics) and Nigel Michel (Administration and Finance).
