Frégate scores at spa awards |14 May 2005

As announced in the spa supplement in the magazine's February issue, the resort's Rock Spa was voted second best spa in the Africa, Middle East and Indian Ocean hotel category as well as fourth in the world’s top 25 spas.

Last Autumn, readers were asked to visit the magazine's website and nominate their favourite spa in ten categories ranging from Urban Day Spas in the UK to Hotel Spas in Asia. The spa was rated according to various criteria, such as ambience/décor, treatments, cuisine and service/staff.

Patrick Brizio, Managing Director of Frégate, was in London to collect the award.

The Rock Spa opened in May 2004 and commands a dramatic location on a plateau on the highest peak of the island.
