Subios images-Chance to take charge |14 May 2005

As in the past, Seychellois will be able to see fantastic images of our underwater world right here where the filming and photography have been done.

Soon the films and pictures will be viewed around the world in environment-related programmes.

Many of the products are, however made by our worthy partners from overseas, and only a few by our own people.

One major point of hosting Subios is to encourage Seychellois to develop the interest, and eventually, the talents to do the underwater shooting themselves.

A good starting point is to see and hear how such impressive work is done during the proposed presentations.

Our dive centres are definitely ready and willing to assist Seychellois who wish to venture into this interesting field, and the Subios festival time offers a good opportunity to develop a rapport with their operators.

Seychelles authorities said it would therefore be a very good idea for those who have the inclination to develop their interest into action by attending as many of the sessions as possible.
