Free shuttle service to Docklands |20 May 2005

The Docklands shuttle service is being run by the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC) and operates from the Victoria bus terminal.

A TATA bus has been repainted and has had its seats modified to face the windows, hence widening the open space in the middle to accomodate people standing and shopping bags.  The bus has a seating capacity for 25 passengers and can take an additional 10 standing.

The service runs from 9.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m from Monday to Friday and up to 2.00 p.m on Saturday.

The bus collects passengers from the terminal and goes straight down to New Port via the 5th June Avenue. On its trip back to Victoria, it takes the Francis Rachel Street, goes along Independence Avenue, making a few stops on the way to either drop off shoppers or pick up new passengers.
