Karting-Wins for Marc Delcy, Dave Rene and Steven Rosalie |27 May 2005

In the Cadet class, Marc Delcy celebrated his birthday with a fine win, holding off Carlos Larue from pole position to cruise to the finish line.

Stephan Simon took third place and Roger Pothin finished fourth.

Marc Delcy leads the class with one point more than Carlos Larue. Stephan Simon lies third 11 points adrift.

Dave Rene made it four wins out of four races, easily beating an out-of-form Liza Rene in the heats and the final.

Liza finished third, while Alistair Maiden made a remarkable comeback to claim third position for his second podium finish since taking up the sport.

Dave Rene leads the Formula A classification table ahead of daughter Liza.
With Junior class leader Peter Fred finishing third, Steven Rosalie won the race to close the gap to six points.

Second to Rosalie in Sunday’s race was Ian Confiance.

It is to note that the Junior and Formula A drivers raced together last weekend and the organisers described racing on that day as lively. The overtaking and the level of concentration were also good despite some near misses which could have spelt disaster.
