Second hand fair to support community

A wide range of groups, including schools, have been invited to take part in the fair, which was held at the Mont Fleuri community centre.

The aim was to get the local community to pull together in these times of economic hardship by giving people the chance to sell items from their home and by helping those who are shopping on a budget.

Items available were second hand clothes, books, toys, household items, garden items, sports items such as bicycles, furniture and much more.

The district administration is planning to organise such a fair every six months to support fellow Seychellois during these tough times.
