Golf-D’Offay wins MEC Retreading competition |20 June 2009

Well before the first tee-off time on Saturday at the Seychelles golf club, Anse Aux Pins, all the prizes were well and neatly arranged on a table, giving the competitors an extra desire to play their best golf to try and win.

The scores were very close and Richard D’Offay, who has been trying his very best for the past months to win a competition, came out the winner with a score of 40 points.

Second was Harold Prea and third place went to B. Luca. They finished with 39 points each.

The Savys – son Robert and father Johnny – came out fourth and fifth with 38 and 36 points, but being the sponsors they so kindly donated their prizes to other winners.
 
The Rizvi brothers – Gibran and Maarij – were on the winners’ list after finishing sixth and winning the best back nine.
The prizes were presented to the winners by Mrs Audrey Savy, husband Robert and son Johnny.

Club captain D’Offay thanked them for once again sponsoring the competition and wished them all well and success in their business.
