Paris tourism office launches online training in Holland

  Seychelles’ online training with Travelution

The more knowledge travel agents have about the Seychelles islands, the better they can offer and sell the destination to clients.

Part of this promotion included an exclusive on Seychelles in the May edition of the magazine. The 12-page article was distributed at the end of last month, and the online version is available at http://www.travelution.nl/index.php?page=bestemmingen

A Seychelles banner, which is linked to the Seychelles website and that of Air Seychelles, is being featured on the Travelution website until the end of June.

The main focus of the promotion was the e-learning platform run by Travelution, which is connected to the e-learning system of all large travel agencies in Holland. 

This online course will give 12,000 travel agents in Holland and Belgium access to Seychelles’ destination training, which is informative and interactive.
 
The training presents all the necessary information about Seychelles, as well as a video, maps and images of the country.

It takes around 30 minutes to complete, and to pass the course agents must correctly answer a series of questions based on the destination, after which they receive a certificate. 

As certified agents of Seychelles, they will be able to take part in the sales challenge that will be organised by the tourism office in Paris and Air Seychelles in January next year, when they will have a chance to win educational trips to the islands.

The e-training is also set to be beneficial in terms of giving staff in the Paris STO useful and valuable professional market information, as they will have access to the results and database of agents who follow the training course.
