Volleyball: Super Cup competition-Good Start for Premium Spikers and Friends |07 October 2011

The super Cup competition is being organised by the Seychelles Volleyball Federation and partners to substitute for the women’s and men’s league championships which will not take place this year, after it was originally scheduled to start after the Indian Ocean Island Games.

In  the men’s match, Premium Spikers took 56 minutes to rout Anse Royale 3-0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-15).

After a slight resistance in the first set, Santa West surrendered in the second and third period to be outpaced 3-0 by champions Friends. The set scores were 25-20, 25-7 and 25-9.

Premium Spikers’ next opponents are Racing Club, while in their next match Friends will face Juniors.
