52-year-old woman found dead near workplace |22 October 2011

The 21-year-old man from Gaza Estate appeared before the court yesterday as a suspect in this incident which the police are treating as murder.

He has been remanded for 14 days.
Police spokesperson Jean Toussaint said his department was informed about the incident at around 2.30am, adding Mrs Nourrice’s body was found near the Aquarius Shipping company where she was working as a cleaner.

One of her former colleagues told Nation on the phone that Mrs Nourrice often reported for work around 3am.
