Joram Madnack appointed new IOT general manager |07 November 2011
Known as Joe by people in the industry, Mr Madnack joined the IOT as financial director in 2001 and served as deputy to the general manager for some years. He previously worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant of the UK.
Mr Madnack said his main objectives as head of the plant are to continue to successfully drive the plant’s performance together with people development despite the various challenges facing the tuna industry and created by emerging new competitors, and to achieve further outstanding competitive innovations for higher growth of the business, while maintaining the high quality standards of IOT’s products.
He added that he is confident in the current team’s ability to achieve these new challenges.
Mr Lazazzara, who become IOT’s general manager in 2009, has, as from October 1, 2011, joined IOT’s mother company MW Brands at its headquarters in Paris as group plant director. He is now responsible for the MW Brands plants in Seychelles, Ghana, France and Portugal.
