Football-Hall the hero for Albion Sports with winning goal |18 November 2011
Hall, who helped St Michel make a second clean sweep of all the titles this year, requested for a transfer last week.
According to St Michel’s manager Andrew Jean-Louis, it was Hall’s wish to leave the team.
“It was Hall‘s wish to leave St Michel. His decision was purely personal as he wanted to be close to his loved ones in England,” said Jean-Louis.
The victory in Wednesday’s nine-goal thriller helped Albion regain a share of the leadership and Hall’s winning goal was his first for the club.
Albion went ahead through Joe Brown before Declan Normshield doubled the lead soon after, but Emley came back to be level by the break.
The home side – AFC Emley – took the lead in the second half but goals from Brown and Paul Helliwell saw the visitors regain the lead. Emley levelled again but Karl Hall came on to score his first goal for Albion as they won 5-4.
Hall was also part of the Seychelles team who won the gold medal for the first time at the 8th Indian Ocean Indian Games the country hosted in August.
