To win this award, businesses need to have excelled in a range of performance and structural criteria, including corporate strategy, sound controls, contribution to the local community, investment in people, launch of innovative products, enhancement of customer service, taken measures to improve visibility on the market, among others.

Managing director of Barclays Seychelles, Rakesh Jha, commented: “This auspicious accolade is a commendable accomplishment both for Barclays Bank and for the Seychelles financial sector. I am gratified by this recognition that bears testimony to our efforts to continuously strive to keep customers at the centre of all we do in spite of the challenging environment.

Our aim is to promote the pursuit of innovation and spearhead pioneering activities, whilst
delivering timely and quality service, and to remain the Best Bank in Seychelles for many
more years to come.”
