Seychelles congratulates Cuba on 53rd Anniversary of Revolution |06 January 2012

In a congratulatory letter sent to President Raul Castro, President Michel has described relations between the Republic of Cuba and Seychelles as a “shining example of south-south cooperation that we can be proud of”.

“I have no doubt that the relations and friendship between our two countries ... will continue to gain momentum and to successfully develop in the benefit of both peoples, contributing to the setting of a multilateral and stable world order.”

President Michel concludes his message by wishing the fellow island nation continued progress and prosperity in the years ahead.

The anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution is celebrated on January 1.
