According to reports, the boy was initially on the beach with his father but then returned to his home close by to fetch something.

The accident happened when the boy was crossing the road on his return to the beach at around 2.50pm.
The case is under investigation.

Four people – two males and two females aged between 15 and 20 years old -- have been admitted on the wards of the Seychelles Hospital after a jeep they were travelling in overturned and hit against a tree near Sunshine House at Providence late Sunday night.

The victims’ injuries vary from cuts and scratches to a fractured arm.
The jeep was travelling from town towards Pointe Larue when the accident, which was reported at 23.50hrs, occured.

This case also is being investigated by the police.
