Second ‘Patrick Victor Show’ set for February 11 |12 January 2012

Host to the first show, Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino will once again be the venue for the second ‘Patrick Victor Special Dinner & Show’.

The special evening is organised for fans of Patrick Victor and visitors to Seychelles wanting a taste of island music and culture.

The February 11 show will again see the participation of some talented Seychellois artists who will be interpreting Patrick Victor’s songs. The music band for the evening will be coming from Praslin, the island which was the inspiration for one of Patrick’s most popular songs Retourn Praslin.

Ken Choo, the general manager of the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino, says: “I am looking forward to another great cultural evening with Patrick’s fans and hotel guests.”

The Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) supports the move by the Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino to help consolidate what the board calls ‘Cultural Tourism’.

“Our tourism industry is special because of what we are and because of what we have. One of our main assets remains the unique diversity of our people and the culture that comes with it. Music is part of that and we need to protect it and promote it as much as we can,” says Alain St Ange, chief executive of the STB.

“Mr Choo and the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino Team must be congratulated for the effort in blending our country’s culture with animation of the resort,” says Mr St Ange.
