VISA training with merchants |13 February 2012

The three banks in Seychelles offering POS terminals - MCB, Barclays and Nouvobanq - have therefore joined together with VISA to offer training to POS merchants from Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. 

The training will take place on Wednesday February 15, 2012 at the Maison de Football, Roche Caiman from 9.30am and will cover the following topics:

• Card acceptance
• Best practices
• Fraud awareness

This training comes at an opportune time for banks and customers alike, and is in line with the banks’ philosophies of enhancing best practices and ensuring a safer trading environment in Seychelles. Educated merchants will mean that Seychelles will be able to move ahead and be on par with the other countries embracing emerging payment technologies.
