Press records Seychelles’ presence in Reunion |18 February 2012

Both Reunion and Seychelles are members of the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands Group alongside Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte and Comoros. But only Seychelles and Reunion have agreed to work together in promoting the Vanilla islands concept through the Carnival International de Victoria in Seychelles.

The Seychelles delegation was headed by Home Affairs, Environment, Transport and Energy Minister Joel Morgan. It included Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) chief executive Alain St Ange, and Sharen Venus and Juliette Albert from STB’s marketing department. They held industry meetings and had a thank you evening for all the Seychelles trade partners in Reunion.
