Early water restrictions on Mahe |20 February 2012

These areas are getting between four and 17 hours of water supply per day.
Areas between Hermitage and Victoria, North East Point/Carana, Cascade, Belvedere lower, Les Mamelles lower and La Louise lower are being supplied with water between 5am and 10pm everyday.

Basin Rouge, la Louise upper, Fair View and La Misere are getting 14 hours of water supply per day, from 6am to 8pm, while water is available between 5am and 7pm at Morne Blanc.

As for Pointe Au Sel upper, water is being supplied for only four hours per day – from 6am to 8am and from 4pm to 6pm.

The Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) is urging customers to use water wisely and to do their utmost to conserve this vital resource.
