New safety equipment for lab workers |10 April 2012
This was done in a short ceremony last week at the Seychelles Hospital where the equipment was handed over to director of clinical laboratories Prosper Kinabo by Karl Pragassen, a representative of ACT Offshore Limited – whose company originally helped in the formation of the insurance company in Seychelles .
Mr Pragassen said directors and shareholders of the company wanted to “give back in a little way to the country”.
The ministry said he was actively involved in liaising with the hospital and equipment suppliers to determine how the donation could be best used and ensured the money was provided as soon as the equipment was chosen.
Along with safety equipment, the ministry also received items such as timers, slide drying benches and water baths.
