Seychelles and Reunion discuss ties with Emirates

“We have discussed our plans to strengthen our position in the Asian market in the coming months, with the forthcoming plans to open two additional offices in China and Hong Kong through our embassy in China and also strengthen our activities in the India market,” said Elsia Grandcourt, STB’s chief executive.

“As part of our joint marketing initiatives with STB, we are looking at strengthening our air access between the islands. The Middle East has great potential for dual center holidays with Seychelles and Reunion showcasing each other’s diversity,” said Pascal Viroleau, IRT director.

Majid Al Mualla, senior vice-president, commercial, West Asia & Indian Ocean, Emirates, congratulated Mrs Grandcourt on her new appointment as chief executive and Mrs Grandcourt assured Emirates of STB’s continued support for airline partners who work with the board and support the board in its endeavours to promote Seychelles.

Representing the Seychelles business community  at the ATM are seven exhibitors: 7 degrees South, Banyan Tree Seychelles, Berjaya Hotels and Resort Seychelles, Coral Strands Smart Choice, Hilton Seychelles and Mason's Travel.
