Air Seychelles crew graduate after re-training in Abu Dhabi |08 May 2012

This was in the presence of Home Affairs and Transport minister Joel Morgan, Air Seychelles’ chief executive Cramer Ball, head of crew delivery and support Francesca Moonsawmy, and the general manager of corporate affairs Allan Renaud.

The 18 young men and women, who had already served on Air Seychelles prior to the airline's strategic partnership with Etihad, have during the past six weeks undergone intensive training focusing primarily on safety aboard aircraft.

This will be followed later by another course focusing on service.
This first cohort of cabin staff is being followed by three others at the Etihad Training Centre. The third cohort travelled to Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

Besides cabin staff, other Air Seychelles personnel include pilots and engineers, most of whom were also present at yesterday's graduation.

Prior to the graduation ceremony, Minister Morgan and the Air Seychelles officials visited tbe Etihad headquarters.

Nation will come back on the subject in tomorrow’s issue.
