Golf: April ‘Barclays Monthly Mug’-Walker wins April Mug |08 May 2012

Only 18 years old, Walker coincidentally started the tournament -- which was played on a Medal (Stroke play) format -- with a handicap of 18 to finish with a score 61 net.

Starting with a handicap of four, Charlie Morin scored 64 net to finish second, ahead of third-place finisher Axel Andrade who scored 65 net after starting with an 11 handicap.

The winners received their prizes from Ramona Porice of Barclays Bank, in the presence of club captain Dr Zee Rizvi.

On behalf of the Seychelles Golf Club, Dr Rizvi thanked Barclays Bank (Seychelles), for the continued sponsorship of the tournament.
