Diguois called to have say in their island’s progress |23 June 2012

This meeting has been initiated by the island’s development board as a consultative process to engage the participation of the Diguois in the development of their island and to provide the board with the opportunity to meet the islanders and explain to them the role and present projects that the board will undertake over the course of the year.

It will also be a chance for the public to raise their concerns.
During the meeting the public will also be presented with the Expo 2020 project for the island. This will benefit the Diguois who did not have the chance to visit the expo when it was held on Mahe last year.

The meeting will start at 10am at the district’s administration office at La Passe.
