The two leaders met in a tête-à-tête before joining the talks on the crisis in Madagascar (see lead story).
“Our discussions at Port Launay have strengthened the already excellent relations between Seychelles and South Africa.
We will work together to build new programmes for bilateral cooperation as well as continuing to work together in matters relating to regional cooperation such as SADC,” said President Michel following the meeting.
Mr Michel and Mr Zuma also discussed the development of youth programmes in both countries and exchanged views on a variety of regional and international issues.
President Zuma left Seychelles that same night.
