IGCSE-A-level-International School records another year of excellent results

Two of the high achievers: Nandita Nair (right) and Siddhanth Mathur

At A-level there was an overall pass rate of 96% with 80% of students receiving the higher grades of A*- C.

“This is testament to the hard work and dedication of the pupils.

It also means the majority of students will be able to progress to their preferred choices of University or into employment,” says a communiqué from the school.

There are a large number of students who achieved an exceptional collection of grades.
These include Siddhanth Mathur who obtained 4 A* grades in Math, Physics, ICT and Business Studies
Nandita Nair who obtained 2 A*s, 2 ‘A’s and 1 B and Saurabh Vishwakarma who obtained 1 A* and 3 ‘A’s.

At IGCSE level there was an overall pass rate of 100% with 84% of students achieving at least five GCSEs at grades A*- C.

There was also a large proportion of students who achieved exceptional individual results across the board.

Eight students achieved at least 11 A* or A grades, special mention to Upeksha Hettiarachchi who obtained 15 GCSEs: 6 A* and 9 A grades.

Commenting on the results, head teacher Daniel Roberts said:

“We are very proud of all our students here at the school and wish them the very best in their future plans.

It can also be a sad time to see so many students move on to other things but I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the staff here at the school for all the support they have given and of course acknowledge the key role that parents and other family members play in helping their children achieve the best that they can.”
