Former pro Hajdrowski loves Seychelles

“I love Seychelles. It’s a nice place with good temperatures. The people are friendly,” Hajdrowski told Sports Nation on Sunday at the La Promenade Gymnasium as he watched a women’s second division encounter between Rainbow and Roots Sisters.

“Now I want to see the top men’s teams in action,” he added.

The 2.06m centre blocker is lucky as the country’s two top men’s sides will be playing what could well be the title decider this coming Saturday at the Palais des Sports.

“I’ll be there,” he said when told of the mouth-watering fixture.
He will also be able to see the women’s title decider between defending champions Friends and Cascade.

Jajdrowski played with AZS Czestochwa in his native Poland and won the Polish league before moving to Germany where he represented four teams including Bayer Wuppertal with whom he reached the final of the CEV Cup – the second top official competition for men's volleyball clubs of Europe. The CEV Cup is played every year.

He also won the German championship with Bayer Wuppertal.
Aged 42, Hajdrowski now plays for amateur side Siatkarz Olesnica and would like to bring his team to Seychelles next year if everything goes according to plan.
