Seychelles concludes Tourism Week with grand ball tonight |29 September 2012

Tonight, Constance Ephelia Resort will do the honour of hosting the STB’s third annual Seychelles Ball, which is the highlight of Tourism Week.

Guests will celebrate in style by not only being in a naturally beautiful and luscious environment that is Constance Ephelia Resort, but also by being greeted on a red carpet with a welcoming drink.

The Seychelles Ball is a perfect chance to promote tourism as an industry and showcase the efforts of the Celebrate Seychelles Events Department within the STB and the organisation itself.
 
This grand soirée follows a week of activities, including a nature walk and a tourism fair, which were organised to celebrate Tourism Week.

Guests will receive three bottles of wine and one bottle of Laurent Perrier Champagne per table, a chance to win prizes in the raffle and the opportunity to dance until the early hours of the morning.

With Laurent Perrier Champagne, who coincidently is celebrating its 200th anniversary and the East Indies (the local distributor for Laurent Perrier Champagne), being our sponsors, we hope to put on the best Seychelles Tourism Ball yet.

The event is set to start at 7pm and carry on until 1am. The complementary wine, champagne and entrance to the raffle are all inclusive in the tickets, which were available for purchase at SR1200 at the STB headquarters at Bel Ombre, Constance Ephelia Resort and at the Information Office in Victoria.

The Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St Ange agrees that we should join in the World Tourism Day festivities as our economy is largely benefited by tourism.

 “Tourism is more than just hotels and restaurants. It encompasses everything that makes our economy and on the night of the 2012 Seychelles Ball all those who believe in our country’s tourism industry will be present,” said the minister.

Tonight’s  Seychelles Ball will be a great chance for people to get together and enjoy the many positive aspects of tourism in general and see the light tourism shines on the Seychelles, which helps us integrate, grow and develop.
