National Assembly-8 questions for Finance minister |02 October 2012

The Assembly will then have the first and second reading of the Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2012.

The Assembly will sum up its business for this week with two motions. The leader of the opposition, David Pierre, will table the first motion, calling on the government to ensure that all anti-corruption measures are implemented accordingly and in that process all the requirements by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) should be taken into consideration.

The second motion will be tabled by Herbert Hoareau, elected member for St Louis, calling on the government to review the logistics and human resource support given to the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDEA) in the fight against drug trafficking.
