School for the Exceptional Child gets new donation |09 October 2012

The donation was presented recently by the chargée d’affaires of the Embassy of the Order of Malta in Seychelles, Alexandra Azaïs, its first secretary Franca Berardi and husband.

Also present for the ceremony were the school’s head teacher Monica Accouche, staff and students.

Mrs Azaïs said it is important for the students with disabilities to express their talents and to contribute as good citizens to the development of the country.

She added that the embassy aims to contribute as much as possible to improving the education and wellbeing of children.

Mrs Azaïs thanked the sponsors − Davide Onofri from the company Club Scuba and Diving Sails Adventures, and Amelio Mori of CAT − for providing the educational materials as well as Mrs and Mr Berardi for their support.

Mrs Accouche thanked Mrs Azaïs and the sponsors for contributing towards improving the education of the students.
