Judo: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix-Eight judokas to compete in the UAE |09 October 2012

They are Amenda Payet (-78kg), Brigitte Rose (+78kg), Marie-Anette Vidot (-70kg), Natalie Caroline          (-70kg), Neddy Philoé (-60kg), Naddy Jeanne (-73kg), Leslie Philoé (-81kg) and Dominic Dugasse (-100kg).

They are being accompanied by coaches Christian Velici and Francis Labrosse, while the Seychelles Judo Federation chairperson Monique Athanase heads the group.

The annual tournament which is being organised by the International Judo Federation and hosted by the UAE wrestling Judo and Jiu Jitsu Federation will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the largest exhibition venue in the Middle East.

More than 650 athletes from 69 countries will compete in this first Rio 2016 Olympics qualifying event, which will boast world-champions and Olympic medallists.
