VP Faure at ITU telecom world leadership summit |15 October 2012

This year’s event is being hosted by the government of the United Arab Emirates and is taking place in Dubai at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).

The October 14-18 ITU Telecom World 2012 is the leading platform for the global information and communications technology (ICT) community to connect, debate, network and share knowledge.

Heads of governments, ministers, heads of United Nations agencies, heads of regulatory authorities, industry chief executives, thought pioneers and digital innovators from across the entire ICT ecosystem convene for this event organised by the ITU.

The ITU is the lead United Nations agency for ICTs and comprises 193 affiliated member states, including Seychelles. As such, the ITU is uniquely positioned to be the global networking platform bringing together key industry stakeholders from public, private and research sectors alike.
