Renovation work underway on Cascade school

Minister Mondon and other parties looking at the plan of the school

The visit was organised jointly with the district authorities to assess the progress of the renovation work and to discuss and agree on the future plans for the new section of the school.
 
The first phase of the project includes a complete renovation of the crèche and two main buildings as well as the toilets. The project is being funded entirely by the government of Seychelles.

The minister was accompanied on the visit by principal secretary Merida Delcy, the director general responsible for planning and infrastructure Charles Confait, Cascade school’s head teacher Gina Balette, member of the National Assembly for Cascade Charles Decommarmond and district administrator Fred Barrat.

All parties have expressed satisfaction with the way that the work is progressing.
