Sandra and friends take ICCS by storm

Sandra wooing the crowd with one of her solo numbers

The crowd for the sold-out concert would simply not stay in their seats inside a packed ICCS.

Accompanied with live music by the Tanmi band, Sandra started with some solo songs at first, such as Sa bon lanmizik, Fanm Inik and others from her latest album.

She was then joined by Master Emel and Jah 1, and they all performed – either together or solo – songs from their latest albums, and also some from previous ones that had made it to the top of local charts.

Other colleague artists like Chicco Martino, Telcy, and Patrick Victor then made their entrance on stage.

Reunionnais artist Damien Amable also featured in the show and performed several of his songs that have made it big in Seychelles, such as Amour lointain, and Nou lé cho. He was then joined by Sandra for their lovable duet Ou sa ou lé.

Each performance was welcomed by screaming fans, jumping up and down, shouting out the lyrics.
Interludes were filled by none other than Vurna, who had the crowd in stitches with her side-splitting jokes, and didn’t even hesitate to make fun of the performing artists much to the delight of the audience!

Boasting an excellent sound system, the show left nothing to be desired in terms of sound. It ended later with a well-satisfied crowd applauding long and loud their support for the young artists who had made their night.
