Air Seychelles increases baggage allowance |08 November 2012

The increased allowances apply to all international destinations served by Air Seychelles.

The new policy also covers connecting flights throughout Etihad Airways’ global network.

Members of Etihad Guest, the joint frequent flyer programme of Air Seychelles and Etihad Airways, will receive additional allowances of 5kgs for Etihad Guest members, 10kgs for Etihad Silver members and 15kgs for Etihad Gold members.

Robin Middleton, Air Seychelles’ general manager commercial, said: “We are continuously looking at ways to improve our offering for guests, capitalising on the operational support of our partnership with Etihad Airways. We believe that all of our guests, especially the valued and loyal members of our frequent flyer programme, will very much appreciate this generous allowance, particularly during the upcoming holiday season.

“This comes at a time when we are also introducing new routes and aircraft, demonstrating our ongoing investment in the end-to-end guest experience and affirming Air Seychelles as the carrier of choice for the Indian Ocean.”
