Air Seychelles increases baggage allowance for Etihad’s silver and gold members |10 November 2012

In a communiqué sent to Seychelles Nation yesterday, the airline company wrote that “additional baggage allowances are for Etihad silver and Etihad gold members only at 10kg and 15kg respectively”.

This is contrary to a previous release dated November 6, 2012, in which Air Seychelles wrote that “Etihad guest members would receive an additional baggage allowance of 5kg.”

The increase in complimentary checked baggage allowance is 30kg for Economy class passengers and 40kg for Pearl Business class passengers effective immediately.

The increased allowances apply to all international destinations served by Air Seychelles. The new policy also covers connecting flights throughout Etihad Airways’ global network.

Members of Etihad guest, the joint frequent flyer programme of Air Seychelles and Etihad Airways, will receive additional allowances of 10kg for Etihad silver members and 15kg for Etihad gold members.
