School for the Exceptional Child gets early Christmas treat from Lions Club

The children are being served lunch

The event, which is held annually, is an early Christmas treat for the school whereby gifts are given to the children and a special lunch is laid on.

Present at the special gathering were Minister for Environment and Energy Professor Rolph Payet, member of the National Assembly for Roche Caiman Jeovanna Charles, Indian high commissioner to Seychelles Thanglura Darlong, principal secretary for health Veronique Laporte and members of the club.

The school’s head teacher, Monica Accouche, thanked the Lions Club for organising this treat for the school.

Before the lunch was served, Prof. Payet, Mr Darlong and other guests helped to give out gifts to the children.
