That was during a long service award ceremony held at Chez Lamar Restaurant and which was attended by general manager, executives, and heads of departments.

Forty nine employees – 27 with five years and 22 with 10 years continuous service with the hotel – were rewarded.

General manager Frank Wesselhoefft thanked all the associates for their devotion and hard work. He also reminded them that their “efforts and hard work are sincerely appreciated”.

Fame group provided live entertainment on the night and almost all the workers took to the dance floor in no time.

Marie-France Laure, who presented the vote of thanks on behalf of all the awardees, described the event as “great” and congratulated her colleagues on their achievements.
