Netball-Chantal Jeanie best player as Dynamite win league title |29 December 2012

Jeanie helped Praslin Netters finish with an even win-lose record of 6-6 in 12 games for 18 points.

Runners-up to Air Fleuri Netters (formerly Evergreen) last year, Dynamite are the league champions thanks  to a superior goal difference as GAM High Flyers finished level on points – 27 – with them.

Both Dynamite won nine games and lost three, but the former won the title on the goal difference rule. They finished with +106 (326 for and 220 against) compared to GAM High Flyers’ +87 (320 for and 233 against).

Scorpion finished third in the league with 24 points despite finishing the first of the two-round league at the top of the seven-team standings with 15 points after having amassed five wins in six games. Their rather poor second-round showing of three wins and three defeats led to them slipping down the ranking and to third overall.

In fourth place overall are HoH Netters with 18 points (six wins and six defeats), while Health have finished in sixth position with 9 points (three wins and nine defeats) and United Friends seventh with 3 points (one win and 11 defeats).

Unlike previous years, the Seychelles Netball Association under the chairmanship of Dorothy Isidore did not organise a knock-out competition this season
